on june 29, 2002, "our man on ruegen" discovered a single ring within a field of wheat just beside the busy e22 road between scharpitz and poppelvitz on the isle of ruegen in mecklenburg-vorpommern. the ring must have been there undiscovered already a few weeks as nearly all plants had recovered again making the ring nearly disappearing.

as there was not much left flattened we can not say anything about the ringís original condition.

but we could find the known expulsion cavities on each plants third node (http://www.fgk.org/01/BLT/dispersion/).

although the ring is placed just aside the busy e22, it is and was nearly invisible from the road. we discovered only because "our man on ruegen" is driving a mini-transporter with a slightly higher seat position.
